Our story

Dreamcatcher Soaps began with something very personal — my daughters. When they were babies, they struggled with sensitive skin, and I started making homemade soaps for them with special ingredients so I could control exactly what was going on their skin. What started as a way to care for my girls quickly grew into a passion for creating beautiful, handmade soap.

The name Dreamcatcher also carries a special meaning in our family. When my daughter Shea was a baby, she struggled with nightmares, waking up in the middle of the night, crying or screaming. A friend of ours who is a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux tribe in South Dakota gifted her an authentic dreamcatcher, and it helped bring her comfort and peaceful nights. When we learned baby number two was on the way, my daughter Mackenzie, the very first thing placed in her room was a dreamcatcher. I even made it a permanent fixture to see every day on my arm by getting a dreamcatcher tattoo.

That same love and intention goes into every bar of soap. Each soap is handcrafted with thoughtful ingredients, comforting scents, and a touch of creativity. From exfoliating blends like coffee and tea to warm favorites like maple brown sugar, and oatmeal, every bar is made to be both beautiful and gentle.
